Topside flexible paint for Rib tubes, Inflatable or dinghy
Home > Topside flexible paint for Rib tubes, Inflatable or dinghy
Topside flexible Rib tube & inflatable boat paint has been specially formulated to have the elasticity and UV resistance required for use with inflatable boats and Ribs. Because inflatable boats expand in the hot sun and contract at night in the cooler temperatures, constantly flexing, ordinary paint or vinyl stick-on numbers will not stay on an inflatable boat for more than a few weeks.

Topside flexible paint can:
Improve the look of tired fabric
The paint will not crack or flake off
Leave a smooth finish
Give an approximate coverage of 5.53 sq m per 1lt
Available in Grey, Black, Blue, Orange, Red, Yellow and White.

Tips on using Top Side Paint

Inflate the boat to recommended working pressure.
Thoroughly clean the fabric using Rib Revive and cleaning pad, ensuring you get into all crevices and corners.
Prepare the tube surface to be painted using 100grit sand paper.
Degrease the area using acetone for Hypalon boats or MEK for PVC boats.
Using a brush or roller apply a thin coat of inflatable paint.
Two coats maybe required for a higher quality finish.
Wait 3 hours between coats.
Allow 24 hours for the paint to cure before use.
