It's a new year and we are delighted to welcome lots of new visitors to our website! Whether you're here to purchase cleaning products or to enquire about a full Rib refit, we want you to feel confident that you're in safe, experienced hands. 

We thought it was the perfect time to tell you a little more about who we are and how we work. 

Who We Are

Founded in 2004, Rib Shop is a team of dedicated marine professionals managed by Directors Kieron French and Stephanie French. With over 75 years of combined industry experience, our team brings extensive knowledge and expertise to every project.

Our strong Company Values sit at the heart of everything we do, ensuring our clients always receive the highest standard of service.

Based in Hamble Point Marina, with a separate sales office, we pride ourselves on being a true One-Stop-Shop for all Rib owners. From minor repairs through to major refits, our aim is always the same: to always provide a professional, quality service at a competitive rate.

Kieron French - Company Director & Project Management.

Kieron has worked in the marine industry since 1993, starting part-time Midas Marine while still at school. He went on to complete an apprenticeship and further his career with Ribtec before recognising his potential and founding his own company at just 20 years old. With decades of hands-on experience, Kieron's knowledge of the industry is extensive and hard to beat.

Stephanie French - Company Director & Project Management

Stephanie joined Rib Shop in 2005 and quickly became an integral part of the business. While now primarily office-based, She has extensive hands-on experience in Rib Retubes and repairs - and proudly holds the title of "Chief Leak Finder"! 

A self-confessed land lover, Stephanie keeps herself firmly on terra firma, expertly juggling accounts, sales, purchasing and social media to keep the business running smoothly behind the scenes.

Lorna Pulford - Office Manager & Sales

Lorna began her marine industry journey at Viking Life Saving,before moving from commercial to leisure marine when she joined Rib Shop in 2021. Lorna has an excellet understanding of our product range and is highly knowledgeable when it comes to options and suitability for different customers and uses. 

With particular expertise in Highfield tenders, Lorna is well placed to offer advice on the options available, helping clients make informed decisions with confidence. Her attention to detail and practical approach ensure that each enquiry is handled thoroughly and professionally. 

Often your first point of contact when you call, Lorna combines friendly customer service with in-depth product knowledge, making her a valuable part of the Rib Shop team and a trusted point of contact for both new and returning clients.
